Wow!

This has GOT to be the most dramatic bang-for-your-buck mod EVER!

Well done!

Chevy Quality?

Is it just me, or does the craftsmanship (I use the term loosely) on the SS headrest look horrible by comparison to the Mustang? :barf:

Looks nice now but I wouldnt advise doing this, after a few cleanings with leather preserver/cleaner it will fade out,if you looked at your leather with a microscope you would see the overrun of dye embedded along side of the stiching causing deteriation of the surrounding areas, please dont do this to the beautiful ford factory white stiching, its not worth it!!! just my opnion as a leather worker.

I have cloth seats so if I'm carefull enough and do get it done, I wonder how long until it fades and has to be done again... I'm in the air on this one.

I'm hesitant to even try on Leather. There is absolutely no way in the world I would try it on cloth seats. I mean NO WAY.

That's actually my biggest concern: fading over time. Also, it doesn't look like the end result is a bright red like factory. But rather a red/pinkish tone.

Pretty ballsy/creative, looks good at the moment but yea I think it's more potential problems than it's worth. If I ever spill something and stain my white stiching I'll have this option

Has anybody else tried this? I was at a Cars & Coffee over the weekend and noticed how much the colored stitching popped in those high end cars. Would be an awesome touch to have orange stitching in my comp orange car!

Spoiler alert: This is how Ford actually did the red stitching!

Seriously? Or just some hump day sarcasm? Lol
Pretty sure it's easier for them to just use red thread. Of course sarcasm.

I've gotten a few pms asking how this is holding up so thought I'd post for everyone to see...three months and 5k miles and I cant tell the difference. I never had any dye transfer to my clothes, including white dress shirts, khaky pants etc. Everyone that rides in the car comments on the stitching. :)
