I decided to make all of the white stitching red on my premier ebony and race red car. I followed a tried and true method of using a dye marker. The marker cost me three bucks, and it took about three hours (lots of stitching!). Its a it tedious and brainless work but with some nice tunes it goes quick. My friend who has an orange 2015 GT came by just as I was finishing the door and the first words out of his moulth were "Awesome! Do they make those markers in orange?".

It looks soooo good!

Here's a short video showing how to do it

I *really* want to try this, but I'm afraid I'd just screw it up. How bright is the red? It's the same color I'd choose.

That turned out better than I would expect! Are there any product warnings like the color bleeding into or staining the adjacent leather?

Very very nice! I'm assuming you'd have to be way more careful if you wanted to do the fabric seat stitching in Red. I would love to do it though..

I don't know how'd you do it on a cloth interior. The same reason he can wipe away the excess on leather and have it stay on the thread is the same reason I think it'd stain the cloth pretty badly. It'd soak in immediately.

I would imagine that on a cloth interior it'd be very tough to do for the reason Jeffrey stated. The whole reason this is foolproof is the dye doesnt soak into the leather. A cloth seat it would soak into.
