PP2 in Europe

So, just wondering if anyone would know. The Power Packs from Ford, state they are for US and Canadian vehicles only.

Would that mean that if i bought one from the states and gave a VIN for a EU car for the ProCal i wouldn't be able to download the calibration?

I can't help but feel as though ford only say that for legal purposes for emissions and fuel consumption in other countries. Any thoughts?

Bump! Any EU mustangs got any of the Ford Power Packs installed?

Well to answer my own question, and for anyone who's interested, no, Power Pack will not work on EU cars, as the ProCal tool needs to id the VIN, and as soon as it detects its a EU VIN number it will come up with an error.

Just got off the phone to Ford Performance rep. So now i'm very sad!!

Very sorry to hear this for you guys. I just had mine installed today. It's worth it if Ford ever makes it for euro version Mustangs.

cant just get an aftermarket tune?

I'm very hesitant because i want to use the GT350 throttle body, and a lot of people have complaint about poor drivability and surging from aftermarket tuners with this throttle body, whereas everyone with the power packs are loving them!

My only option i think is to see if anyone with the PP2 also has HPTuners or can borrow one, and copy the map to a file. That way i can upload it to my car.
