Mustang 2015 onwards GT 5.0 Streetfighter Engine Oil Cooler Packages

Streetfighter finished development and are in production of our engine oil cooler upgrade package for the Australian Mustang V8.
The Australian delivered Mustangs have been known to experience external and internal, oil and/or coolant leakage of the standard OEM engine oil cooler.
We expect both the Streetfighter Engine Oil Cooler Package and Streetfighter Oil Pressure Monitoring Kits to be ready for release before end of 2017.
Pricing soon to be released.

Plenty of clearance on standard manifolds and Streetfighter headers.
I expect the same clearance on all other brands of headers.

Yes correct , we have utilized much of the Mitshimoto kit components along with our Streetfighter components to perfectly suit the Australian RHD.

David, thanks for posting. Can you please advise:

are any of the aluminium parts in contact with water, and if so what grade of ally is used
testing (extent, track, hot weather?)
cooler brand and type (eg bar and plate or other)
if the rad hose is a special part where are spares are available from, and cost

Cheers

Hi
We are utilizing the Mishimoto bar and plate cooler and lines along with our own Streetfighter manufactured by pass manifold to perfectly suit the RHD Australian Mustang.
We have several vehicles that have our development kits on. They have been 100% perfect on road and track.
The radiator hose is part of the kit.
You can obtain all spare parts from Streetfighter directly.
No parts are in contact with coolant/ or water. It is a oil-air cooling system.

What sort of costs and time frame are we looking at with an installation ???? And does this setup have to be installed by S/F ??

What exactly is not compatible between the RHD and LHD? Rather than just a marketing words and taking advantage of people none wiser.

We are just finalising pricing at the moment. We will post as soon as we have price.
Can be installed by any qualified mechanic.

The LHD Mustang has the engine oil cooler housed under the oil filter.
Due to the steering box being on the opposite side on the RHD models, there was no room to have the oil cooler under the oil filter. Instead the oil cooler was relocated towards the LH rear of the engine block.
The RHD oil cooler is a completely different design and has been known to fail.
Imported oil cooler kits , eg Mishimoto do not have the extra components to delete the RHD oil coolers therefore there is still a problem that the standard cooler can fail.
Stretfighter have manufactured a 100% Australian made by-pass manifold that compliments the kit and serves as a total solution for the RHD cars.
In regards to marketing words and taking advantage, all we are doing is creating a solution for the Australian Mustangs to meet an known need and letting people know about it. If this is taking advantage , my apologies, you have the choice to ignore it.

Just curious, why is one of the radiator hoses replaced for an oil cooler kit? Is the OEM cooler water cooled and comes off this hose?

Correct. We delete the oil to water cooler and replace it with a more efficiant oil to air cooler. This requires a new bottom hose.

In the other thread in this sub-Forum on oil cooler failures there is a link to the thread in the UK section which explains the differences between LHD & RHD oil coolers.

I'd post the link but don't know how on an iPhone.

Edit: Home now, so here's the link:
