how do you get to the firewall ... the battery box is in the way... can you get to it from under the car ? if so... how hard is it to get off the firewall ?
(i have blowfish kit...wanna install it and get rid of UGLY sound tube)

My solution to the sound tube problem was to remove the piping where it has a join near the battery box. Seal the pipe at that point, then no need to try an get the remaining part removed and deal with the firewall issue.

The best way to get to the firewall is from under the car, preferably on a hoist unless you have stands :-(

We have Sync 3 in the Escape we just got and it's much better than the Sync 2 in my Mustang.
