Billet 5.0 Coyote Oil Filter Relocation Kits 2011-2018 Mustang GT / BOSS / GT350

The Kit is universal in nature and can be mounted in ANY location that gives easy access to the filter. We will see if we can find some customer examples and post them up. Did you have a question in regards to mounting locations?

Yes. Pictures showing examples of new and improved mounting locations would go a long way to selling this kit.

The stock filter location does make it a bit difficult to change the oil without oil running down your hand/arm as you spin off the filter.

Show how this kit allows for a new horizontal mounting location.

I bought one and even though the mfg should have posted pics. (I too asked). I will post up pics once I install. I've said same thing, pics would go a long way selling these.

As we stated above, these kits although specific to the vehicle are universal for fitment, we will see if we can find some installed pics and we certainly welcome them from those that have installed this high quality kit.

Would be great to mount this in the engine bay. Then I can use a sucker for the oil and remove the filter from up top like every MB has been since the dark ages.

We have a customer who did this:

Should be able to just spin filter off from top.

I have to run some sort of duct to get the airflow to the cooler.

I just got the kit for both cars (KB and Hellion) .
I found there was no space for the oil adaptor filter I needed to run the lines to the oil pressure and temp gauages I am installing .

Huh, my oil filter relo mount has two ports for two fittings. One 1/8 npt and the other 1/4 npt.

MMR, can you provide some info on your Aviaid dry and wet sump oil systems for the 5.0 and 5.2 please.

What I meant was I had previously bought a oil filter adaptor that would not fit because of space .
That's why I needed the oil filter relocation kit .

Ordered the filter relocation kit .. but my installer is telling me that it deletes the stock oil cooler .
Is that right ?
MMR sells a kit that includes and aftermarket cooler and if I had known that is what I would have ordered .
MMR,can I buy the oil cooler alone to add on if that is the case ?

Just a heads up for anyone buying this kit .

You will have to delete the stock oil cooler OR get the kit that comes WITH the aftermarket oil cooler .
