How could this be the Australian Tune?
Not one Aussie car has been manufactured at this time.
Where did they get the Aussie tune from?

I am only going off previous posts on streetfighter. But since the AUS tune was down 20kw to Standard US factory tune we are not likely to be able to do anything like a 12.75 ET for an auto GT.( I think that car also has a 3.15 diff).

No Not Aussie Tune. Definetely a U.S Tune.

We will be offering the U.S tunes for the Australian delivered vehicles.

Is this due to the 300 vs 335kw difference?

Who in Melb will have your tune?

I think you're right about the diff ratio being a non PP auto GT.

Very impressive time, our 3.55 rear ends with KPM's tune should be even better.

Hi David,

You may have read that the RHD models get a revised exhaust manifold because of the RHD steering gear that supposedly clashes with the headers

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1536899

The article below also goes on about the different exhaust manifold, but then pipes up again about the SAE vs DIN power measurement...

http://artofgears.com/2015/08/25/uk-v8-mustangs-are-5-hp-less-powerful-than-us-v8-mustangs/

You have run the US GT on the dyno and it appears to be a significantly different tune to the Aus tune.

Could this exhaust manifold be responsible for the 20 RWkW loss?
Is this also why the Aus tune in your US spec GT resulted in inconsistent dyno runs i.e. because the exhaust manifold on the RHS was different?
If the RHS exhaust manifold has changed and the LHS has stayed the same on the Aus cars, will this have any affect on the exhaust X pipe design?

Some insight would be appreciated.

No.
The exhaust manifold is not the reason for a 23 kw reduction in quoted power levels.
There are many varying factors that in total contribute to the results. This includes varying tunes for various fuels and local conditions World wide.
We cannot be sure what the deciding end factor is..
We will only have a true indication once we have an Oz delivered vehicle to compare the same tunes in the 2 separate vehicles and hardware.
