Woah... Navigation an add-on? Can I get Track Package with NAV now!? The NAV is typically that same price after the my ford touch.. So maybe that might be an extra charge on top of the tech pack, and still not available for track pack.

Will be interesting to see additional information, because at this point the R seems to be a BARGAIN compared to what we thought it would be, and the "regular" GT350 overpriced.

If it starts at $50k even with ADM I would probably jump for the R, hopefully they keep pricing reasonable. I was expecting 70k+ for the R

There's some unique features going into the Tech Package. Don't know the specifics, but I've heard strong rumors about some cool stuff coming out of research.

If these prices are right and the bad car starts at high 40s low 50s it changes everything. If an R model tops out at around 60k then that's the one ill go for. What a smoking deal!!!!!!! Thought it would start at 70k. Hopefully get my hands on one of the 37 special editions. :ford:

I'd be shocked if base price was under $50K.

Not to mention a little pissed. :D I'd expect low 50s.....

Gt500 had an msrp around $55k, I can't see the GT350 being cheaper given just how much nicer of an overall car it is

Track pack gets you suspension tuning, mag ride and wheels.. R gets you lightweighting, remove backseat and red accents?

Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
According to the order guide. suspension is all the same and mag ride is included in all packages.

Edit - The only difference chassis wise is the "unique chassis tuning" which I presume means some extra welds on the seems. Anyone know for sure?

Are these performance related features? If so, why would they not be available in the track pack? If not, what are they doing in a car that's supposed to be a showcase for performance?

Hmm. Interesting. While at the NYIAS I had an opportunity to chat with one of the marketing people and he stated the carbon fiber "R" wheels were in the $13K to $15k range and would be offered as an option.

Just thinking out loud here but that may start to make better sense "if" the R package is going to start at the $3500 range excluding the CF wheels.

Just a thought.

Also, going by the original order sheet it appears the the GT350 cannot have both the Tech and Track packages together. :( I hope that will change in MY16.

Well the $3500 for the R is definitely on top of the track pack. Although it still seems really cheap for carbon fiber wheels, CC front brakes, and all the other stuff. They can save some money on the deleted stuff but it still seems cheap.

Would anyone care to guess what the "SVT Touring Package" might be for the R?

A/C and basic audio ?
