You're a scholar and a gentleman.

The break in period isn't too different from the Boss302.

This should also put the kibosh on that whole "over-rev" debacle. Not at all mentioned in the supplement, which is exactly where it would be if it were a real thing.

Very good information, I can really see myself owning this car. Question: I will probably get the base model due to budget and the fact that I can't justify the extra performance, based on the more experienced drivers here personal experience, at which point will I really be hating the fact that I don't have Magneride, extra coolers, and brace bar? Thank you.

You just know lawyers co-write that stuff--check out the warning not to have peaple sit in the back of seat delete cars and how to tether a kids seat without a back seat.

Transmission Fluid

This may sound dumb but did I read correctly that the GT350 uses "Motorcraft Mercon LV Automatic Transmission Fluid" for its manual transmission?

Is it normal for manuals to use automatic transmission fluid?

Yes, it is normal. Since ATF is more commonly found in stores, many manufacturers are/have been using that fluid in their transmissions (both auto and manual).

My '02 GT calls for Motorcraft ATF, and that is a manual as well.

Not really because ATF is more commonly found in stores. You can find gear oil just as easily, but since about 20+ years ago most manuals have used ATF because that's what is recommended for the tighter and more precise bearings and bushings that are used now. It is also a better lubricant for the gears.

Only thing I found was this.
"*Redline is limited to 8000 RPM until the engine oil temperature exceeds 190°F (88°C)"

Own or LEASE? Are they offering a lease on the GT350?
