I notice after installing the VMP kit that my exhaust tips turn black with carbon dust very quickly, like daily. Is this a normal thing? I’m guessing it’s pig rich under boost? Anyone have this ?

Somewhat normal. Do you know what your A/F is sitting at under boost?

My log shows .80 or so until about 6300 rpm . After that it is .69 or so. If I’m looking at the right data.

That is pretty damn rich above 6300. But I haven't tuned a blown coyote engine so I am not sure what they are looking for, but that is right around 10:1

Sent the log to the tuner a few days ago. I’m guessing he will adjust if it’s needed.

.69 is very rich even for a boosted car,u need to have a revision done.

Tuner said my car went into cat protection. AFR is good. Sent a revision . We will see what happens. Overall the car runs great.

Sounds like you need to lose the cats and turn off cat protection. It dumps fuel to cool down the cats since a rich mixture will be able to cool a lot better than a leaner mixture. In fact you'd have to go super lean for there to be enough air to cool down the exhaust.
