It actually looks pretty accurate according to the teaser... I expect the intakes beside the headlights to extend down to the lower intakes

Splitter

I think Gabe used the R Splitter. From the Preview, it looks like the Non-R Splitter is used.

Upon Further Review . . . Maybe they are using an All New Splitter that is Flatter than the 350 and R.

For me, I am so glad they are the old headlights...if they stay that way.

These renderings are just that. They are okay, but they are also flat and not capturing the flares and bulges, and how wide it is (from what I've been told :ninja:)

I think once we see the actual car, very few will be disappointed
Most people didnt like the 2018 front end either but once you see it in person it looks way better and the Bullitt looks killer with the 2018 front end so does the red rendering with the 2018 style headlights and GT350ish bumper.

If they use the old style headlights when the base 4 cylinders have the new 2018 front clip that is NOT going to sit well with people!!

I mean really hell this car so long over due itll be the model yeal 2020 GT500 with headlights that are 5 years old thats pretty absurd and will be a gigantic mistake. Sorry no way i can really put that nicely.

I’ve seen plenty of 18s. Sorry man, don’t like it nearly as much.

Hoping for at least 335s at the back. No other way it could put down 700+ sensibly.

With the fast-shifting gearbox and so much focus on handling I think it's safe to say the 500's theme and purpose have changed somewhat.

If they have pegged back the power I would be guessing it's to keep costs down. Catch 22. Half the people complain they want 800+hp but when they see the price they'll complain about that, too. Welcome to reality.

Think some of U us guys bitch too much about the pricerange. I paid 115K USD for my EU 17 GT, due to 150% cartaxes here in Denmark. Wonder what that would get me in US?

Could get you about 3 18 GTs

I know the overseas struggle, but not necessarily first hand. In selling my 2005 Mustang, a big issue has been the 29% tax required on a U.S. Import

Talking about what's outlined in yellow.

Holy shit, and people on here bitch about how 'hard to clean' the little pockets under the 2018 headlights are? LOL. That looks like something ate a Mustang and its head is still poking out of the bigger creature's mouth, desperately trying not to get swallowed up.

Well you're kinda speaking for everyone, ya know? I'm mixed...I've warmed up a little to the 18 but still think the headlights remind me of this a bit:

Well......that was a very early prototype, so we can't really judge. It's been indicated the newest prototypes will be on the road in the Spring, so hopefully we'll get a better look then.......but I bet they'll be heavily camo'd to ruin our fun :frusty::D
