Only if you like spending big money for minimal returns. If et is what you are after suspension and weight is money better spent with the mods listed.
Sure 10k for a FI kit especially twin turbo kit money goes along way for boltons suspension wheels tires and weight reduction......

But ive got nearly double your “5 figure kit” in a build with nearly half the horsepower. I love my car but knowing what I know now I would’ve just spent the “5 figures” the first time, got way more power, and been done with it

650 hp from base blower kit is not hard. $6000 will buy a base kit and tune.

Spend 6k on N/A and see..

I know the difference, I just figured you didn't. And hell yes I have 10k in my current setup.the headers alone were 1800 plus 760 install. Throw another 1340 in there for the catback and boom your already at 3900 for example. It's very easy to sink a whole lot of money for what I consider now as minimal gains. The money to horsepower ratio is way off but it's all in what you want I suppose. The OP wanted opinions on the matter, so that's what I gave him, my opinion

No doubt FI is superior both in performance and cost compared to NA.

I still think NA is plenty viable, at least for most people. I've spent ~$4,700 dollars (including my DR's) so far on bolt ons and I'm trapping 122mph with a crappy 1.95 60 foot. If I had a lift, or access to one, that would be ~$4,200 (paid 500 for my LT's installed). A tq converter and a little suspension work is next on my list to fix my horrible 60 foot time. I'm estimating I'll end up paying about the same as a centrifugal supercharger complete kit and should be in the 10's.

I think there's an argument to be made either way about how to best spend $6,500 (FI vs NA + suspension) but going anything past $6,500 and the FI route pulls ahead by a lot.

I like the idea of a full N/A build as long as it doesn't get insane and severely effect driveability. Yes, FI is def more bang for the buck but it comes with other hidden costs. More money to beef up other parts, or more broken parts if you don't, limited traction in many cases, more things that can go wrong and that are difficult to run down.

I'm loving where I'm at now. Going to add L&M intake cams, ported GT 350TB, OPG, CS, and E85 tune, if this shop can ever get me in, and see where that takes me.

And I even paid cash and saved a good chunk of money. I’ll work on my beaters all day long but not my late model stuff scares the shit out of me honestly lol

Your drivability should remain awesome. And I would recommend beefing up some other components and doing some suspension regardless of which route you go. You WILL break shit with the build your talking about with a good sticky tire.

NA is awesome but I totally get the $ argument, in the end, its all what makes you happy. I kick around the idea of an EWP because AED told me it was 12whp at 5500+ and for NA that's huge, but its also $1100 lol. If it was $500, it would be an easy decision.

I was going to stay NA because I liked the idea of an all out NA build and seeing how much HP I could get out of it. But before I got too far into it I started crunching some numbers and realized (for me), that FI was the way to go. I already had the headers and suspension mods installed that I was going to need anyway for being NA, so I sold my GT350 IM and got my supercharger. I was looking into cams and heads to add on, but for the dollar spent per horsepower returned, it was a clear choice. Don't get me wrong, I think an NA build is cool. But it's like there's a certain point you get to where it isn't worth spending more money because the gains just aren't there for the dollar. Not mocking what the OP wants to do, I don't criticize somebody for how they want to spend their money. This is just MY outlook. It's all good.
