I have to use my better quality cables for it to work, if I use one of my cheap USB cables it either doesn't connect, or it connects then fails to sync

OK, so AA is now working as it should. Yesterday I downloaded Waze to see what all the fuss was about, but noticed when driving along this morning it wasn't updating my location (GPS turned on on my phone). Guess I've done something else daft, any ideas?

probably more likely the phone couldn't get a gps position of the satellites through the metal roof of the car, try putting the phone on the dash on your next journey see if it works fine then :)

I'll try that, but there no similar problem with Google maps, just Waze. Not sure why!

Hi guys on the topic of android auto, ever since the November update for it, I've been struggling to get it to work. A fix I've previously used was downloaded a previous version pre November update when it worked fine with the mustang however it now forces you to update or you can't use it.

However now it just doesn't work, you can't skip or go back more than once using any control as it freezes then the screen goes black then AA restarts. Also if you haven't noticed the background has changed and I really liked the detail of the previous version with the night sky and shooting star in night mode.

I've complained to the developer twice but they haven't got back to me. I keep checking if they update it then test that newer version.

Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem?

I'm on Sync3
Android Oreo 8.0
Oneplus 3t on oxygen OS 5.0.1

Anyone using Waze on Android Auto? I "speak" for the place I want directions to, it then brings up the list of places for me to click on........ when I click on one it resets back to the screen with just the map and no directions. Frustrating! Anyone else having this issue?
