Hi everyone, we have organised an initial "Steeda Dyno Shootout Day" down at Perfect Touch Performance just by Junction 26 of the M25 (North London)

It should be great fun, with a barbecue on the day, refreshments and most importantly a chance to see what you stang can do!

The day will be on SATURDAY 23rd June, from 9am til 4pm and there will be TEN slots available for dyno power runs. £65 for the day (normally £90)

We can also offer discounted Steeda Cold Air Intake installed packages so you can do a before and after run and see the difference! This will need booking in and arranging prior to the event.

Contact PERFECT TOUCH on 01992 443900 to book a slot

We were there this morning and pulled a couple of power runs on our Q500

So WHAT power number do you think we made?

We have a Kooks catback, with H pipe, a Steeda de-restricted intake with a Steeda tune.

Guesses below, and please say if you are interested in coming along for the Dyno Shoot out day.

440-460 depending on dyno correction/standard issues (fuel, air, density, altitude, etc).

Stick my bet around the 447 mark.

The Dyno at pod put a standard v8 that ran it at 385 xD

Steeda UK really you need the car standard to run on that dyno with the same calculations, and then again with the MODs to know how much it's improved (or otherwise). If it's gained 70 over stock(assuming stock made 410 on that dyno) with those mods i'd honestly be shocked. (That's then making your claimed 480)

it was on the Dastek Dyno at Perfect Touch, who we normally use for our independent testing.
and what does that dyno put a standard V8 unmodded at?

I'll have to try and track down from when we did the bone stock GT and added a Steeda CAI, but when we did our Focus ST stock there it was bang on the 250 that Ford said it was.

Anyway, on the day you can all find out your numbers and compare.

Call Perfect Touch on 01992 443900 to book in your slot....

We will also do some install deals so you can have a before and after dyno as well, great for a Steeda Intake or catback install (must be arranged in advance)

So I figure +5 bhp from catback and maybe another +20 bhp from a canned tune and hot air intake.

So 440 bhp ish at the crank...
