Woo! X-pipe resonator delete installed today. So far I really like it. Perfectly civilized but a nice sound :)

Did sound tube delete on Friday. Very good mod for very cheap! In addition to the cleaner noise in the cabin (and just a tad less volume), throttle response is notably better. So far I've just taken the front section off, but will probably remove the rest soon.
FYI I got these to cap both ends. Worked like a charm:

and this for plugging the firewall eventually:

Guard GT crew! I saw you were posting quite a bit on the exhaust threads, we are actually both looking for the same thing sound wise!

Are you still thinking of going with the Magnaflow mufflers?

I haven't decided yet! To be honest, it's been really great the last few days with just my X-pipe. I really want to hear it being driven to know how loud it is/how good it sounds from the outside. From the inside, I love it. The sound tube delete really woke up the throttle response and rev-matched downshifts are great.

Yeah I am very torn on the issue.

I also have an X-pipe and would love the mufflers, but I wish I could hear them first and sit in a car with them. I hate drone with a passion so I want a set up with none, I might just go CAI and hope the additional growl will suffice for me!

Interesting....

I decided to order a Roush Intake first, I figure that with the intake being on sale right now it makes sense.

I will let you know how it sounds, maybe that will provide the increase in sound I want when I step on it!

Based on my experience with cone filter, open CAIs, it will! It's on my wish list as well.

Added Anarchy Motive heavy shift knob recently, and finished the front-end bracing with the lower K-brace over the weekend. Shift knob is HEAVY! 588 grams vs. 141 grams. It really makes shifting smooth, and now I don't really want to do anything with the shifter.

Car has 19,600 miles on it now.
