MY18 when do you expect delivery?

Having registered for ETIS I now have details for my mates Mustang, so looks like he has a Mustang built with a New Year hangover (2nd January build date).

How to register on Etis?

I tried to do this but i think you have to be in the trade.

so I just register a new user on Etis, do I need to link the VIN to the account somehow via the vehicle search?

I get an interesting build date 30.11.0002

Vehicle search just allows you to search any VIN. 30.11.0002 is a placeholder. you can use your vin on research maniacs to see the 'actual' blend date (build day) on the window sticker.

Still no build date on my car any one else in the same boat

Ordred early Nov,yet i have a window sticker and build date.
I would imagine these are being built right now.Dealers info is normally behind what is actually happening.

Have you asked your dealer if they have the VIN number?

I have asked and No response! Sent emails asking No response! Its no good Knocking if there's nobody in! I thought things have improved but I have been proved wrong!

If you have ordered recaro's i believe these are delayed builds

I had no response from email either but mine is built and should be gate released this week. Email from dealer yesterday suggests it will be here early March but I find that quite optimistic.

March isn't far off, probably late march, but if it makes it out it should be fine. Remember there's very few 18s built yet, that includes export models, you'll probably be in the first batch of them travelling over here therefore less 'timeline lag' on the boat whilst waiting to make up numbers.

Just sold my car,i feel sick!

I find all these dates highly optimistic, maybe it's different for right hand drive but I have been getting dates earliest May but probably June. While showroom cars arrive April. Ordering opened late December I did order last week of December but that shouldn't push it back 2 months compared some of the dates in here.

Some in here ordered before dealers even knew a 2018 existed, and delivery dates before showroom cars lol wth ?
