Depending on when they release the Bullitt information, I have a feeling that the 1st 2018 Bullitt will be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson in January. Ford usually auctions off something special at Barrett-Jackson for their charities.

Also hope this car will be available to the public before June. All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle is doing a 50th Anniversary of Bullitt, be sweet to see 2018 Bullitts part of that event.

any chance the dealers will do some crazy ADM on these like they did with the gt350?

Recaros.... hope it is optional.... I do cross country drives at times.

But the Possible Michelin/brembos/recaro evidence... I feel this car seems closer to 50K base price than a 40-45K starting point?

Yes, my guess no recaro's.

Prior Bullitts were manuals only. Some were produced in black . With the new 10 speed ,will the automatic be an option. ? Secondly for something new , Recaros with specific stitching would work.

What is the appeal of this car?
Is the performance superior to regular GT's with Performance Package?

Is this so people can pretend to be Steve McQueen?

Nostalgia, is my guess. Special editions are not always about increased performance. Look at all the people who bought Transformer and Hot Wheels edition Camaros.

1 part Dark Highland Green
1 park less badging and cleaner look
1 part the 2001/2008 handled better and had more power than the normal GT. Unknown for 2018, but if it keeps the trend it will likely handle about the same as a PP1, but have a power increase.
