The Widebody Hellcat sounds like a winner at only $72590 starting price. Wide bodies appear to be the rage.

Let's keep the Presidential bashing out of our conversations here please. This is a car forum. Not an anti trump blog.

But... if your going to go Hellcat, might as well go full Demon and get the car the Hellcat was meant to be.

Of course knowing the way things are in life, the GT500 would be announced the day after you do.
I wasn't bashing Pres. T. I am being hopeful the swamp is drained and filled in with dirt so we can let manufacturers and the markets decide what is best.

Found some low mileage used Hellcats for the right price. Needs a pulley, tune, and roll cage ( have not researched any HC stuff yet). Would prefer a track car but I mis the drag strip. 911 pricing isn't so bad compared to a GT350R.

The cars are kind of big....but I like. It should have a 426 ci in it.

Back to the topic. Can't wait to see GT500, or whatever it's called, performance numbers.

Wide body? Are you talking about the one with fender flares? If so, I'm gagging... sort of like the last time I tried liver or tripe.

This one was, according to the poster on Facebook, spotted just a few days ago. It's a later prototype than the one featured in the original post of this thread :)
This one looks to have the revised '18 facia with no rear aero. Can't see (with the phone) the quarter vents.
Hood looks raised
Good to see that they are out working on it anyway.

Yeah,....it's ugly in my honest opinion.
But, I'll be honest, I do LOVE me some Hellcat Challengers and Chargers though.

^^What Jim said!
Definitely looks like a new front fascia and raised hood. Probably that 2650 TVS making some whine under there. (I hope!! lol) :D

Nice Post Paul!!

Interesting that they cover the ends of the quarters. I wonder if there's going to be some kind of venting there or they are changing the back of the car and that requires quarterpanel changes.

Can somebody with an in confirm or deny the following:

Composite front lower control arms (30-40% lighter than current)

No turbo but a centrifugal blower?

See how fender gills would come in handy?
Lol no chance. Can't package that with filtration.

Also the turbos would be too far out in front of the axle. Better off with a blower in that scenario.

Turbos >> blower.

I just hope Ford has the guts to do a TT V8. None of the other domestics are doing it yet.

That's the revised bumper that doesn't droop...
They don't want you seeing that! ;)

Hoping it's turbos too... love the spool up...and the power kicking in.
