yes I have a converter but thats because I'm running a centri blower. You dont need a conveter to see 9's with your combo.

Cant you download livelink from SCT and view the datalogs in graph form or is it different with the Ngauge?
I don't know I will look into that. Thanks again for the insight.

I don’t think a converter it’s totally needed to go 9s on a centri, but it makes the process faster.


In OPs case it’s totally useless, he’s got E85 timing and 8-10psi on the hit.

Try shifting to second gear during burnout to heat up tires properly. Once I started doing that I never saw 2nd gear wheel spin.

Pull that bitch out. :cheers: I hear ya when she ran those back to back 10.20's I wanted to pull the passenger seat out and the back seat. We had no tools with us. :frusty: Drove the car to Ubly that day.

They just re did Lapeer dragway which is only 25 minutes from where I keep the cars. Going to wait for a nice cool, crisp day and take her then. It' been 90 + with high humidity almost the entire month so far.

My goals for this year is to get the stang to run a 9.99 and to get my malibu to go 9.29 with a 275 hit of nitrous. The Malibu went 9.40 at 145. I am going to change the gear to a 3.50 from a 3.70. The shift light comes on at 6500 at the 1/8 and stays there to the end of the traps. I believe a taller gear will pull her through and keep the car in the torque curve longer.

Any of you guys in the Metro Detroit area?
I have the same problem with my 95. I run 26 inch slicks on a 3.73 gear. I want to go to 28 inch tires and 3.31 gears. To keep her pulling thru the 1/4. I think itll do 8s on the 300 jets.

well on pump gas at 10psi its a tough nut.
Hoping I will be there with the upcoming tune tweaks and a little weight off the front on pump and 10psi, full interior.
