So im enjoying my s550 like many others on this forum, but today i was driving by my local Ford dealer and decided to pop in for acouple of minutes. I walked in the showroom and they had this 2010 gt500 with only 5,000 miles. The car is mint and there asking $37000 for it. What's your guys opinions on the 2010 gt500? I know the 13/14's are king but there out of my price range, and this 2010 in grabber blue is stunning in person.

Personally while I think it's cool, I still think the S550 is a better looking car.

The 2010 is probably the heaviest gt500. Still had the iron block of the 07-09 gt500, with updated body work. 37k can get you a newer aluminum block gt500 taking off 100lbs off the front. Pass
Also, imo GB looks better with black stripes. I'm not even a fan of stripes.

I am not and have never been a S197 fan. Poor handling compared to a S550, even less potential. Only place it has a S550 GT beat is power, but really not much quicker despite a 100hp advantage.

It looks like it's a nice car if you can get the dealer down to a reasonable price.

I replaced my totaled '15GTPP with a 2014 GT500 with 3k miles on it. Bought this back in April.

Check out this video before you make up your mind on the GT500. The guy in the video has plenty of experience with late model mustangs. He goes over the pros and cons of the 2005-2014 GT500's, check out his videos.

If you want the Shelby badge, I'd keep saving a little more and look for a 13-14. Not only is it lighter but I think it will also hold its value better than the 10-12s. If you want the performance, I'd go S550 GT with a blower all day
