Matching intake and car color seems a bit silly...

Man that MMR intake is so cheap, but I think I'll hold off for the JLT just because it looks a bit more refined and higher quality

The awesome thing is we have so much to choose from to create our individual car.

I think it would be awesome if a Gal went to lift her hood and sparkle pixie dust shimmered in the light.

The options are almost endless.

I appreciate your opinion. I was on the fence about it. I was going to do gloss black. I knew I didn't want to keep it raw though. Yeah it looks great that way but I wanted to do something different.

I had seen a few others color matched and it looked good. It adds a pop of color to the engine bay, and more so when its color matched. I know its not for everyone though.

I want to make this car my own and this is one way I'm going to do that. It's really the only visual thing I'm going to be doing, and most people aren't even going to see it.

Got my detailing products today! Before, during, and after unboxing :D
I didn't really want the peanuts to go everywhere but I had no choice. At least they were pink

You're going to LOVE the Dry Me Crazy. Little pricey, but the best drying towel I've ever used in detailing hands down. Were you thinking of buying some CQuartz down the road? Worth every penny as well.

Not exactly Ruby Red but close enough and extra sparkly doesn't hurt. Don't worry I didn't harm it with the stove.
did you install yet? may have a hard time getting the connectors over the powdercoat. usually tape those off. looks good otherwise.

Yep I already have CQuartz Finest on it :D

It was a pretty awesome drying towel.
First wash after CQuartz with all my new stuff:

Thanks! No haven't installed it yet. I wondered about that though. I figured they would tape them off but I didn't really think anything of it. Hopefully it will work out okay.

Yay. Just got a call from the body shop and it's gonna take these guys a WHOLE week just to fix this. WTF?! :frusty:

I've had $3-4k in damages in a previous car (wasn't my fault btw) and had this repaired in just 2-3 days. Why does it take a whole week for two scratches like this? :frusty:
