Man, if I didn't already upgrade to PP brakes, I would've bought these in a heartbeat.

I was going back and forth between the PP brakes and gt350 brakes. Ultimately I was worried about wheel fitment in the rear and didn't do the gt350 brakes.

Out of curiosity, why didn't you install these?

Beautiful...

I wish I had the funds for these right now..

If still have them in few weeks I might be in the market for them, would go perfect with my 17 Grabber Blue Mustang.

They are new not used. They are worth easy $2800.
Problem is "new but refinished" is indistinguishable from "used then refinished", so buyers will assume it was used. Also they'll wonder if all the parts and screws and other little bits are still there. It's a big risk to take for $2000+.

You should powder coat it red again and send it back for a full refund.
As soon as you changed the color. They became used. As not original anymore!

I offered $2800 shipped, and would even consider $2950 (what's $150 to make a deal) if the op with ship (36106) and hold for me with deposit ($400) until March 30th or the latest April 13th until I get paid from work.

I agree, once you powder coated the calipers.. not really new anymore or original. But.. more of the issue is that it limits the buyer pool due to the color choice. As most I would assume would want red and goes with most vehicle colors.

Would look great on my car though.. So let make a deal and get those brakes sold to a new home.

Best I can offer is $3000

Can be purchased new with shipping with no issues for $3665.99.

I can get it from you or will just hold out until the 30th and get it from LMR new. Grant it has not been powder coated blue, but that is a plus or minus depending on the buyer.

Might find it cheaper.. Will look around and see what is offered.

Only thing I could is because socal2fast is asking $2950 picked up and based on the number of boxes in his sale post, it could be expensive to ship.

The calipers are monoblock. The rotors are considered a two piece floating rotor. They're two piece...to a point. You can't replace the friction piece of the rotor. Ford went with this design because of weight and the floating concept creates a thermal barrier so you're not cooking your hubs, bearings, and wheels.

I always thought these were light because they're considered two piece, but they are pretty heavy. The '13/'14 GT500 front rotors weigh only a pound more. http://fulltiltboogieracing.com/2013-2014_Shelby_Brake_parts.htm
:headbonk:

How awesome would it have been if Ford used Carbon rotors for this car? It would be a 35xxlb car for sure and feel even more nimble.

I meant to say for the R model, also doesnt matter how much more because I guarantee you most of the people that bought R's paid ADM.

Ha... it looks that way... :headbonk:

But seriously, just tring negotiate socal2fast to ship the stuff too me.

I don't think he interested in shipping the brake kit at this point and looking for a member to pickup in person or keeping the kit and installing on his Mustang.. not really sure.

Or maybe he is wanting me to arrange te shipping, just hard when I am in Alabama and he is California and I don't really know what I am dealing with. I mentioned that he could ship with fastenal very reasonable if he wanted to put all on pallet and I woukd pickup at locally location. Done this a few times for very heavy items, where it would have been very expensive to ship with the traditional services like UPS or FedEx.

$150 to ship five 17" beadlock rims and 37" tires on pallet.

Only thing I could is because socal2fast is asking $2950 picked up and based on the number of boxes in his sale post, it could be expensive to ship.
Exactly.. I will pay his $2950 for the kit..

But shipping seems to be the issue with him. I have asked him if I could put $400 down on it and give me few weeks to pay the rest when I go get paid from work. Would give him time to find a way or arrange shipping the brake kit out and me to come up with the full amount. Obviously not asking him to ship the parts until I payed in full.

So this is why you see me offer $3000 to help with the cost of shipping the brake kit. I would like to see how it was shipped to him? If it was shipped individually in larger boxes or did it come freight? It really looks like you could tape up the boxes individually and ship them USPS, UPS or Fedex.. wouldn't be the cheapest, but could be done.
