Car guy who doesnt really like Camaros or Challengers.
I've owned vehicles from the 3 American brands. I think Ford has the best quality.

If my current car didnt exist it would be a tough choice between a C7Z or a GT350R.

My Viper has been to shop for fitment issues, i guess that goes hand in hand with a hand built car.

So that leaves my 06 GTO vs '13 mustang gt, maybe a tie between the two. The GTO is built in australia, lol.

i owned 2 of the fox body 5.0 when i was young, and a 99 cobra then took a break for about 15 years. when i was recently looking this past year i wanted to love and buy the zl1. took it for a test drive and did not like anything about it. found a local dealer that let me drive the 350 and was instantly sold. so i guess im still a ford guy? lol, but i love my 350!

GTO, at least the seats anyway. My S197 seats wore in like petrified donkey shit.

I've always just liked cool cars. Especially anything without a god darned sunroof that my tall ass can fit in.

After a couple trouble full experiences with domestics and then German cars, I went with Japanese and thought I will never look back. S2000, Lexus ISF, RCF, were all great cars to own. Then I went to the Toronto auto show in early 2016, and could not believe that my 2 favorite cars that day were the gt350 and the ford gt. It was all just a matter of time after that, I love my gt350 because I think it's ridiculously set up from the factory.

Well arenā€™t you guys eclectic!...this is my 5th mustang and the least mustangish of them all...2 fox, new edge GT, and a 16 GT. This one has handles, so weird to hop in a mustang and say that.

My great uncles were all into mustangs, 4 brothers, big time blue oval fans. Hell we even had a ford tractor. I would feel a little odd to have a GM car in the driveway, but i think iā€™d Get over it.

Camaro and corvette sound like feminine names to me and my 8th grade French class. Just so happens that those are my favorite to beat, if possible...

FYI, i still have a cutoff shirt collection

Yeah, but all GTOā€™s had the rear seat seems at the top split.....at least anyone with miles and no window tint.

All my performance cars have been GM. Iā€™ve always been a big Corvette fan, and Iā€™ve had 4th gen Z28ā€™s, a 383 stroker C4 6sp, 05 GTO, C6Z06.
Actually I did have a ā€˜16 GT350 Track Pack, But I merely consider that as a stepping stone to my current R.

congrats on the car. I am mostly a ford guy, but I have a feeling a C8 vette will be in my garage in a couple years.

Blue Bloody Oval !!!!

In my much younger years I would drive what I could find and what I thought looked cool. I was into imports, so I had a few. One I still wish I had was a 1970 240z. Man that car was sooooo much fun. Also it was the first car I learned to really work on. Engine, transmission, ect.

When I got a little more establish I started buying Mustangs. My first mustang a 1993 4 banger Fox. Looked like a v8 but was a 4 all they way. First real Mustang...1997 GT vert. Had Ford credit finance it. First car payment. First mods. Full exhaust, tuned, ATI procharge on it.......Stereo upgrade.....yeah it was great.

From there never looked backed. 03 Terminator, 65 K-code Mustang, (still have), 08 GT /w Supershaker, 11 GT500, and now 17 GT350. Lol along the way, 1995 Ranger, 1999 Ranger, I snuck in a 2000 Zr2 Chevy (still have)I also have 2013 F!50. The wife has a 2013 Escape soon to be a 18 Explorer (as soon as she makes up her mind on colour...)

So....lol yeah.

I was a German Snob - BMW M3 and Porsche 911's. Just sold my 997.1 Track Car and bought a 350R. Buddy has a Grand Sport that is modified for the track - great car as well. I think it is great to try different cars. I have not had the 350R on the track yet but will soon. My opinion on all these cars if you are not going to track it - why bother. The 350 doesn't get crazy fun until the high RPMs and at that point you may have some blinking lights behind you.

Oh man, I can go on and on. BLUF: car guy! Had many cars but always go back to Merican car stock. Way back when in the early 80s had a 67 Fastback and a 69 Camaro, sold both before entering active duty. Kick myself in the behind ever since. itā€™s been a fun journey and enjoyed every minute of having owned many Gm and Ford cars in the past, the memories. My 01, 02 M3 could never equal the Z06 in high speed acceleration at 120MPh on the autobahn.

I do lust after exotic cars for sure though

My mother has had Chevy/GM vehicles since i was 4 years old. My father jumped on GM/Chevy within the last 10 years or so.

I tend to be a Ford guy, but I do like some the Chevy offerings. I do like Dodges as well but the only Dodges I currently want are over 100k being the Trackhawk (overpriced) and a Viper ACR

I tend to just be a car guy in general though
