I'd be more than happy to pay Ford Performance Parts for a rev matching programming update for my 17 GT350.Boo; I want B&O branded audio and rev matching in my 16 :( More so the rev matching as I have not been able to figure out the casual heal-toe or any other consistent way to smooth out my down shifts :/
On the bright side I do get a good laugh when my passenger slams their face into the dash on downshifts because they didn't put on their seat-belt like I told them.
I don't believe they changed the gearing at all. It's not listed under new or changed under Mechanical like it was with the 2018 order guide. The wording is an exact carry over from the 2018 Mustang order guide in regards to the MT-82-D4.
For rear end it is still:
3.15:1 - Ecoboost Auto - Standard
3.31:1 - Ecoboost Auto - Available
3.55:1 - Ecoboost Auto - Performance Pack
3.31:1 - Ecoboost Manual - Standard
3.55:1 - Ecoboost Manual - Performance Pack
3.55:1 - GT Manual - Standard
3.73:1 Torsen - GT Manual - Performance Pack
3.15:1 - GT Auto - Standard
3.55:1 - GT Auto - Available
3.55:1 Torsen - GT Auto - Performance Pack
Per my earlier post in this thread, the Ford Performance Mustangs tend to be added to the guide later after official announcement from Ford. Both the GT350 and GT500 codes are showing up in Ford's ordering system but you can't order anything with them...yet.Unless I missed something there is no 2019 GT 350 my reading I correct ?
Again. Carryover language from 2018 Order guide.Yea, what 69Mach1 said.
MT82-D4ManualTransmission(5.0Lonly)–IncludesDual
Mass Flywheel, Twin Disc Clutch, and new Gearing
In the 2018 it was 3.66 (1st), 2.43 (2nd), 1.69 (3rd), 1.31 (4th), 1.00 (5th), and 0.65 (6th).
So the switch to a 1:1 4th gear vs 5th was actually done on the MY18? That would help explain why the 18 I drove seemed noticeably quicker than the 17 I drove (not to mention the extra 25hp/20tq). I'm glad they aren't messing with the '19's then. Thanks for clarifying.Again. Carryover language from 2018 Order guide.
2018 4th is 1.00:1

"* New MT82-D4 (direct 4th) Transmission: Upsized synchronizers 1st through 4th gears, revised synchronizer cone angles and tooth geometry, new power flow architecture and shift inertia (mass) for reduced effort and improved shift feel"
Yup. I still think that GT500 will be a 2019 MY launch. But it'll be super limited like the 2015 GT350s.Not at all, the order guide with the Ford Performance Mustangs tends to come later. There will be a 2019 GT350 which also isn't in this guide.
If that's the case, they better launch it soon. The first of the New York press days is tomorrow.Yup. I still think that GT500 will be a 2019 MY launch. But it'll be super limited like the 2015 GT350s.
What about that mug ? Is Ford gonna change that ?Yeah. So Ford gets rid of two awesome colors, Triple Yellow and Lightning Blue, for ....
Two sh$t green colors.
Wtf.
Ford has never made a bad blue. :ford:It’s built and I’m waiting for the car to ship from Flat Rock.
I’m really curious what the new Velocity Blue will look like.
