Well that means GT500 is a 2020MY!
Which I think will not be shown in N.Y Autoshow. Too early to show 2020MY.

I wonder if the new gearing will be taller or shorter w/ the manual. My bet is they'll go for MPG's over acceleration.

EDITED: Added picture of 2018 Order Guide showing same language.

I don't believe they changed the gearing at all. It's not listed under new or changed under Mechanical like it was with the 2018 order guide. The wording is an exact carry over from the 2018 Mustang order guide in regards to the MT82-D4.

3.73:1 Torsen - GT Manual - Performance Pack

I think they mean the gearing of the MT82 itself, not the diff

See the top part of my post. It's carry over wording from the 2018 order guide

I realize some of this is carryover from '18 but... rev matching and dual mode exhaust checks the same boxes that Camaro has already done. Certainly it's a step forward. I would like to see a 275 square setup on PP1, and 255 on standard models. Still no factory spare tire option for the PP model. Dealers would sell the heck out of those!

This is the 2019 order guide. The new package configurations are interesting. Especially for the Highland Green Mustang.............. including an all new electronics package for this new 2019 Mcqueen Mustang.
3/27 11:00 Just (re)ordered a 401a, PP2, Active Exhaust, Recaro - I see I will get Rev matching!! Now, the wait starts again! (ordered a MY18 on 2/20 but it was "not pulled to build")

WOOT!!!

Whew! Glad I got my order in for a 2018 Lightning Blue.

edit: Also glad I got a 2018 so I didn't have to spring for 201A to get BLIS. For 2018s, it was part of the $1495 safe & smart package. Now to get BLIS, you also have to shell out for 201A package, which cost $2200 in MY2018. Ouch.
I went to order a Lightning Blue and when there they had one in the Royal Crimson and changed my mind and ordered that color instead. This new Maroon color is great and pretty close to the original Royal Maroon from 1969. Plus I read idiots Ford are deleting Lightning Blue and Royal Crimson but keeping the crappy Kona Blue

I wonder what the Active Exhaust on the Ecoboost sounds like? 2 modes: (1)quiet and (2) S'more quiet.

It’s built and I’m waiting for the car to ship from Flat Rock.

I’m really curious what the new Velocity Blue will look like.
I'm not. It's not going to look as good as Lightning Blue.
I was hoping I could get the new GT500 in Lightning Blue, but that's looking unlikely. I also want to see what the new Velocity Blue looks like. Hopefully it's a true medium blue like say Laguna Blue on the 15-16 Vette, otherwise I don't understand why they'd keep Kona over Lightning.

Well that means GT500 is a 2020MY!
Which I think will not be shown in N.Y Autoshow. Too early to show 2020MY.
Not at all, the order guide with the Ford Performance Mustangs tends to come later. There will be a 2019 GT350 which also isn't in this guide.

Kona is hardly " crappy".

RC and LB will be missed though.
