I was at the Philly show also. It is Guard.

The lighting in your pictures is not helping but Magnetic is much more of a solid metallic gray. Guard has a green hue to it.

Sorry guys I thought it was to light to be Guard. The car sure looks nice in person.

I'm curious to see how this "green" hue would be in natural light... is the guard "darker" than the magnetic colour? I'll probably be ordering one "blind" - so confused :)

@gojensen. It's so hard to explain. In some light it looks charcoal Grey and sometimes Grey with the green hue. But it is definitely darker than magnetic. It almost looks like a Chrysler color. I absolutely love it.

I like the more natural lighting at these recent auto shows. It's got more green in it like this = good thing.

I like it, but I don't see the green... haha! I like that is seems darker than the magnetic... but as someone pointed out - it doesn't look like they'll be bringing GUARD to Europe! (It's off the UK site and the Norwegian site... :()

Final Decision

I have been checking out the color chart for sometime. My original plan was to order a Oxford White GT 5.0 Premium coupe with six speed trans, 3:55 rear, and two tone leather interior. Then I looked at Deep Impact Blue, But it is too bright for me and I do not like the purple hue.
I moved on to Ruby Red, but I had a Red Candy in 2010.
Black, Silver, Yellow, or Orange are not going to happen.
The more I look at it the more I like it, especially with the Green hue.
So Guard it is.
I'm going to order a GT Premium Ragtop 5.0 with the two tone leather interior, six speed Automatic, with the 3:31 rear and the 20 inch wheels.

As of right now only a black cloth top is available for the convertible and that is OK with me.

Here are some pictures from the OKC auto show. The credit goes to my girlfriend and her DSLR. Ford has a stupid protective ring that sits about halfway vertically up the car that made it extremely difficult to take good pictures at common angles so she tried to be creative.

It's 100% true that this car looks even better in person. It is extremely well proportioned and has curves in the right places. After seeing it in person my excitement has shot back up again!

Anyways, pics:

Thanks HGFH's girlfriend! Those are the best pictures I've seen so far of Guard. I hope that is an accurate depiction of of how the green shows up.

I can confirm what the others have said, the pictures I posted are very accurate to color in person. If you notice the pictures start to get blurry away from the focal point because of the way she had her aperture set. With her settings everything was capturing very accurately and she didn't want to change it, even though some detail was lost on the edges.
