My experience with Xenforo on other forums is that from a user POV it's vastly superior to most vBulletin installations, particularly with respect to the mobile experience.

I guess since I'm pretty new here I'm not as conscious of the downsides in terms of loss of user data, but that's my $.02.

You could screenshot your subs list and manually sub again after the port.
That's going to be a royal pain in the ass. I have a few hundred subs! Surely there has to be a way to back up user data that doesn't use a method I would have used back in 2001 lol.

Screen shot and resub? Really? That's absolutely terrible. Not your advice but the way that has to be done.

That Wrangler forum looks pretty nice! Much more modern looking than vBulletin, but that isn't very hard!

For subscriptions is there any way to enable an RSS option perhaps so that those users can save a copy and make resubbing slightly easier?

That just highlights how much forums have declined in recent years. I can't even remember the names of some of the other forum hopefuls anymore, other than bbpress because it is basically Wordpress's best integration there and phpBB.

I'm on a +huge+ forum using Xeno, it's OK, I mean, clearly the UX is better, drag-n-drop inline images, background auto-save, much better mobile UI.

That being said, they've been having some problems over the last week or so, I think there was a janky incremental update. Also, it's apparently a major effort to go from Xeno 1.x to 2.x, so like someone above, I'd get into the most current major version.

Worry not, it's M6G. Dodge Challenger ads will completely fill up any white space.
lol, so true.

This is great news though, thank you for upgrading the system and keeping us all informed!

Are saved shortcuts to threads still going to work? In other words, is the address to threads going to change?
