JK Ford of Feasterville  Did you manage to make it out of there without ripping your front splitter off? I always park on the side, never in the front because of the steep incline.

WORST CUSTOMER PARKING EVER!

BTW - I love that the employees there acknowledge how awful their parking is :p

Found two rear (19x19.5) OEM PP1 rims, unused, from an authorized Ford Performance and Roush dealer for $525 shipped. Needless to say... purchased!

Congrats! Looks awesome.

Did you lease this one also? If so, can you share the details?

Thanks!

When the builder for the 19s went up, Ford had Red Carpet lease deals on a GT for the first time ever. I was leaning towards buying this one because negotiation for a reasonable leasing price ($400/month... which started at over $600/month on a $44k msrp car) took literally 4 hours of back-and-forth with the dealership, and I just didn’t want to deal with it this time... but, upon seeing the leasing specials I went “Hurray! I’ll lease again!”... however, the initial deals on both financing and leasing for MY 19 ended on July 9th (before any dealership even had a 19 to sell :frusty: ), and of course all leasing incentives for the GT went back to 0 (welll... $1.00... seriously) with the new incentives/deals. The best they could do on a lease was around $550/month, which, given the $9k sticker difference between this and my 16 is actually about right (about $15-20/month per $1k)... So, I just bought it. I did do a long finance period of 84 months, as I prefer to pay less per month to have more “just in case” money that’s not being spent, and likely pay the car off in half the time frame anyway (I’ll likely have it paid off in 3 years). Interest rate was only 4.1% through a bank (Ford Credit was 6.95%...), since I should have the car paid off in a shorter time frame, the interest paid will be closer to 2% which is about the rate I would have received on a 3-4 year loan anyway. Payment is just $420/month w/$20k down.

Odd question: is there a way to "make sure" that Magneride is working/engaging? When I test drove an 18 with Magneride back in December/January, when putting the car into "drag mode" I could see/feel the front end kind of hunker down a bit, with the 19 I'm not noticing much difference? I've only put 30-ish miles on the car so I dunno.

I'm not normally big on red, but that car is truly gorgeous! I think the interior with the red seats and dash stitching is top notch. The options are right there too. Good job.

I went back and forth on getting the Showstopper Red with the Race Red Exterior SOOOOOO much. Luckily, I found a dealership that had an 18' Race Red/Showstopper Red combo (ecoboost), so I went down to check it out to confirm it was amazing before changing my order haha. Initially, when I ordered, I asked my salesman's opinion and he thought that it would be "too much red", but when it came in he was texting me "holy crap, your car is AMAZING" and everyone who worked at the dealership was going nuts over it haha
The fact that it's two-toned with a ton of black is what makes it work IMO, it's like the exterior is simply bleeding into the interior a bit.

The upgrade in the interior quality over my 401a 16 GT Premium is crazy. The pics do it a bit of justice, but actually sitting in it and touching things is like night and day, even the leather and bolstering of the steering wheel is WAY better. The ONLY thing these cars are now missing, IMO, is a heads-up display (and possibly a flat-bottom steering wheel :p )... Which, with my luck, will be introduced for the 2020 MY :frusty:

I put the car into drag-mode after getting gas (first fill-up, 14.6 gallons, am trying to run down the dealer gas lol), after turning back onto the highway I gave it maybe 30%-ish throttle... it shot to 60 near instantly and chirped the wheels hard on the shift to 3rd lmao
This car is just crazy fast. :like:
