OK, LOL. I thought I was after you in line and that I was about to receive your steering wheel.
By the way, it doesn't matter if it is an auto or a manual, the steering wheel is the same. I will simply have to transfer the paddle shifters from my current steering wheel to the new one.
I just installed my new steering wheel from Poland. Soft leather on top and bottom, perforated leather on the sides, red stitching all around and a red stripe on top. It looks and feels (it even smells) great. It is 100% flawless. Very professional job, I even appreciated the packaging.
Beautiful, Makis! This confirm the great quality work that our eastern friend is able to do.
You all guys with this new steering wheel... you are forcing me to get it for my car too!
Thanks Stefano, it actually looks and feels so much better in person. You have to see it to believe it! It is the perfect gift for the driver of this car! I will pm you information.
This is a video that I found on YouTube that shows step-by-step the process of replacing the steering wheel. It's not hard at all, you just have to pay attention to a few details.
Don't forget to disconnect the battery by removing the (-) wire before you replace the steering wheel - you risk having the airbag exploding to your face if you don't do that :headbonk:
I got my wheel maybe three months ago. From Beith Performance Parts. Yellow centerstripe, with yellow stitching to match my OEM YJS in the rest of the car. I really like the added thickness to the wheel. Stock one seem so skinny now.
Sadly I have no good pictures of it. Never seem to have the time to take my camera out. I'm working too much, or hanging with my GF and her kid.
