Anyone running one of these?

I'm assuming this will need an amp to power it properly. Anyone have one and how is it? I have the factory sub but it seems a little on the weak side. I've always had a pretty heavy hitting setup. My last sub was a Diamond audio 12" in a sealed box with a Hifonics Brutus 1k mono amp powering it. I still have it but it takes up a lot of room. Don't think I want to go that route again. This JL looks like it might do the job.
