Not a review, but a recent comment on the price mark-ups on the Mustangs:
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/technol...e/news-story/6d98345f48176eedc62a4381bc4f75fd

The comments about Ford ordering parts for the RHD Mustang a year in advance (and greatly underestimating the demand) is interesting and explains why the V8s are being delayed.

Another article on the price gouging:
http://www.motoring.com.au/ford-cant-stop-mustang-gouging-100972/

Which also concludes with an interesting comment about "Look out for our first drive of the Mustang GT Fastback Coupe this Thursday." - yay!

and meanwhile Car advice has already released:
http://www.caradvice.com.au/409886/2016-ford-mustang-review/
"The only problem if you really want to buy one is going to be the wait…"

Just hurry the F up Ford!

(also, old threads for reviews:

I wasn't overly happy with the review from the journo from (caradvice.com.au). He pointed out quiet a few faults which I have to say was a tad off putting. Hopefully my mods including exhaust will turn the car into a car warranting an 80/100+ vehicle score rating...

I haven't noticed this at all to be honest, I can take a picture when I get home if you like
All good, just checked it on colleagues car who took delivery yesterday. He's back now, I couldn't check it before.

It's not like Ford forgot to ensure there's enough clearance for such a simple function, must be something strange with the test car. There's heaps of clearance.

What does bother me is that these things are forever documented on the internet, then some poor bastard on whirlpool arcs up and says "Did you hear the wipers hit the bonnet when operating?" and the rest is history

If you want a review or questions asked by someone who isn't a journo feel free to ask me.

Remember these journos are often paid to write favorable reviews, for example the review of the Ford Focus they gave it 8+/10, if you have a quick search you will find that the gear box in that car is absolutely horrible and has caused owners multiple headaches.

Drive review

http://www.drive.com.au/new-car-reviews/2016-ford-mustang-gt-first-drive-review-20160120-gmajci.html

This is strange

"We were annoyed by a clear view of the rear edge of a test car's bonnet that had been chipped and scratched by the car's windscreen wipers..."

Can any owners confirm if the wipers are a bit close???
The wiper seems to sit quite normally, but can get very close to the bonnet ridge. Particularly on the drivers side.

Noticed this when I first washed the car, and wanted to lift the wiper to clean the windscreen. I had to be careful to not scratch the bonnet.

Fortunately the wiper arm moves easily, so no big drama. But owners should be cautious!

But honestly, who cares? Again, I'd rather nobody else buys it, so we form an elite group :)

If they want to miss out on a car because of a perceived problem that never occurs, yay! Hopefully someone will cancel their order because of that and I have more chance of getting mine earlier.

ALL YOU GUYS READING THIS, MUSTANGS SUCK, I'M ABOUT TO CANCEL MY ORDER, YOU SHOULD TOO!
