Driveline Clunk

I owned a 2015 GTPP before I got my GT350, and in that car I experienced the well-documented driveline clunk when the direction of pressure changed on the driveline (think Reverse to 1st, deceleration). Up until now I haven;t felt that in my GT350, although in the past week or so, I think I've started to feel something similar, but not on a consistent basis. Has anyone else experienced this in a GT350? It sounds and feels like either slack in the driveshaft joint.

Any RWD car will have some play between wheels and clutch, due to many gears from transmission , diff and shaft involved.

I also owned a '13 GT500 from new, which had very considerable slack felt especially in 6th gear. You will feel some in the GT350 also, in 6th gear if you accelerate and lift very quickly or if you accelerate hard from coasting.

It is normal.

Yeah, I wasn't too worried about it, but thought it was weird that it hasn't been noticeable up until now, at nearly 7,000 miles.

Yep, I am just past 7000 and have a bit of that, but it's not excessive...

I had a 2015 GT and I've not felt anything like that in my GT350.
