I ask because I'd like to bring the car to a buddy's house to take advantage of his ramps, air tools and empty garage to install my new catback. I was hoping to put the resonator and midpipes through the trunk pass-through and have the cans hanging out the back. I want to keep the stock system to reinstall when I return the car when the lease is over. :D

Anybody tried this?

Definitely not unless you cut it up into multiple pieces.

+1 on cutting only. It's all one piece.

Lots of protector towels, passenger seat all the way back, some rope - yeah, you can get it home :D
Nope it's too wide. I gave up and cut it.

It's 54" wide from the edges of the mufflers on each side. I have been looking for a vehicle to transport one I want to buy from someone here. You'll likely need a pickup truck. I measured across the back of a minivan door opening (Dodge Caravan) and even it wasn't wide enough.

Yeah, I had to pay a friend with a pickup to move them for me.
