A few folks expressed concern about installing KB's billet/poly mounts.. So, I figured I'd make a quick video to show the install.

A few things to keep in mind:

- Lowering the engine 3/4" does NOT hurt anything
- The install takes 10-20 minutes, tops
- Can be done on a lift, or on the ground
- Does not require any adjustment to anything else on the car
- MUCH stronger than the oil filled stock engine mounts
- Lowers the engine 3/4" to give better hood clearance
- Lowers the overall center of gravity of the car
- Included with ALL KB/Boost Works kits at no additional charge

Quick overview of the mount installation process:

We've installed these mounts in 2005+ Mustang GT's for years.. Not once have we ever had an issue. They are much stronger than stock.

Thanks for showing the drive shaft and everything else, does it effect the clearance of any aftermarket headers that you know of.

How much would you say NVH has increased with these over stock?

I've installed these mounts on cars with SW and ARH LT's.. no clearance issues at all.

What's funny is that you really can't tell they're in there. Others with our setup can chime in, but it's surprising how smooth the engine runs and how little is transmitted back into the cabin with these poly mounts.

With these mounts, is there any PD blower that will fit under the tower bar?
