Bought a Raptor!! Amazing Truck

So this is my first foray into the Raptor world and I have to say its one of the best vehicles I have owned to date. I came from a 2017 Ram 1500 Sport with every option, and these trucks are two totally different beasts. The biggest let down for me was the factory wheels options. Even the upgraded beadlocks just didnt do it for me. I happen to run across RRW on Instagram and decided to hit them up and couldnt be happier. I opted to go with the RR2 in gunmetal. At first I was going to go with black but the guys over there recommended gunmetal to match the fenders and boy am I happy I trusted them.

All in all they have had great customer service, the product is outstanding, and some of the best looking wheels for the raptor. Definitely hit them up. On with some pics...I will post some better ones in time, the weather has been hit or miss still in the northeast.

I love the styling. Too bad they don't have a V8 anymore, though.

I have one in Lightning Blue. Best vehicle Ford has ever made, IMO. Just an outstanding truck. I also have the Whipple Stage 1 kit on mine. Sub 5 seconds to 60 in this truck is fun. I wish it had a V8 for the sound, but the V6's performance is really impressive.

My neighbor has a RAM hemi sport with some kind of aftermarket exhaust and it sounds awesome. No way I'd get a pickup without V8 sound. That's 75% of the appeal for me.

If only you could get one in a regular cab shortbox.....

Thanks for all the kind words. I was hesitant on the ruby at first but it has grown on me. Like many I watched so many video reviews about the truck before and after I bought it, and yes the exhaust note is no V8...I truthfully dont think its that bad. For the size, its a rocket...I'm waiting to see if Ford Performance comes out with a factory tune for it, but seems likes its been "in the works" for quite some time.

When we did our Performance Vehicles, the V8 was pretty sweet but then we started to see the numbers with the EB:

Steeda Performance Power Pack Upgrade. This couples the Steeda Mega Cooler, roto-molded high-velocity cold air intake and industry leading custom calibration to make an amazing 150* foot-pounds of torque and 80* horsepower more than stock. Even better, at 4000rpm, the system produces over 220 foot-pounds of torque over stock giving more power under the curve for incredible throttle response.
