I also agree with Bill. This is my set up.
"H-Pipe with CJPP axlebacks: sounds great but a little loud in the cabin."

This is from post #139 with an h-pipe. These are very bassy to begin with, to the point where it's hard to have a conversation with the windows up when accelerating between 1300-2500 rpm. They sound great from behind, but the cabin noise is starting to get to me. It doesn't drone if you maintain an rpm, it's just bad when giving it gas in the low rpm range.

Very nice! I'll keep driving and determine if I need to add some sound deadening.

To me it doesn’t sound like the h-pipe adds much volume. Not like it does when paired with the Roush.

I was at my limit with the cabin sound paired with an H-Pipe, guess I'm getting to old. :)
:D It sounds good but I still prefer the nasty growl of the Roush.

Although it gives a person searching for a different sound an idea, exhausts don't represent well in sound clips. Side by side is the way to choose, even better if you can drive the other guy's car.
This is true. But rarely does one ever get the opportunity, unfortunately.

For any newcomers to the forum or members that were not aware of the threads that were originally started about the issue shown above, that is something that was addressed with the manufacturer a while ago and has since been fixed with all of our current inventory and has been for some time.
How can one be sure without cutting and taking a look?

What I can tell you is that we have a great relationship with the manufacturer of those items and when we brought the issue to their attention a long time ago they sent us new inventory that we spot checked and then they assured us that this would not be an issue moving forward.

We belong to the Oklahoma Mustang Club with well over 400 members, (the only Mustang club in the country with their own plate), kinda' neat.

All types of systems to compare with.
that's cool, when I was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, I was a member of OKDHM.

Hey Guys,

Great thread. I put this set on yesterday with the stock resonator. They sound great at start-up and, as mentioned, do drone in the lower rpms. Passenger side fitment is horrible. That side took the longest to install. Driver side installed no problems. Debating whether or not to get something that fits better as I lost sleep last night thinking about the gap.
