And most people probably never used that 10K GT to its full potential.$6,500 for something 99.99% of Mustang owners will never use or see the capabilities of.
And to think, back in 1982 I bought a brand new GT for $9,999 ...
That's why there weren't "performance packages" that cost 15% of the car's base price like there is now.And most people probably never used that 10K GT to its full potential.
Also I bought a brand new Escort for $9,999 in 2002.
lolIn 1976 I bought a 67 Camaro used for $900.00 now my 16 GT cost $30,000.00 I use 95% of it's twisty potential.
Wrong, you lost the bet. What do I get?... I bet that 1982 Mustang was a death trap and had interior rattles the second you drove off the lot.
You could say a GT350 is a 25K Package on an Ecoboost as most people won't actually use that performance either. So why bother ever buying anything over base?Wrong, you lost the bet. What do I get?
The relevant points are $6,500 packages are huge for 40k cars, and 99% of people never race their cars. But heh, whatever floats your boat ...
(the "squeak free" '82 GT I had)
So what? These are option packages nobody is forcing anyone to buy them. I say kudos to Ford for stepping up their game and offering more performance to those that want it and are fine paying for it.Wrong, you lost the bet. What do I get?

Yes, I could say that. But I prefer rational statements ..You could say a GT350 is a 25K Package on an Ecoboost ...
So what? There are option packages, but not all make sense to 99% of buyers. I say buy what you want, maybe then it'll drop the price of the other more functional options that everyone looks for.So what? These are option packages nobody is forcing anyone to buy them. I'm not following. You are saying that Ford should not allow performance pack options on the Mustang beacuse it's too confusing?Yes, I could say that. But I prefer rational statements ..

I'll be @ the Philly show next weekend. If there is a PP2 thre I'll ask what the deal with the spoiler is.So did anyone ask the dealer about the spoiler issue? Or are we just sharing philosophies as to why it doesn't look like the picture ford put out?
That’s been an issue for months now... people are just going to their Dealer and placing the order...I wonder when ford will update the configurator online? You currently can not build a PP2 mustang online. Cmon ford...the cars are at dealers already.
