Am deliberating changing my 16 for an 18... but Ford haven't released PCP figures yet (probably to encourage sales of current stock).. so I'm in limbo...
- unless anyone else knows otherwise...
Thanks
I was speaking to a guy who works for Ford yesterday - he’s picking up a Mustang in a few weeks. So naturally I asked if it was a 17/18. It was a 2017. He added “they’re not taking any orders yet of the 2018 until the 2017 stock is gone”.
Obviously some have ordered but i’m guessing that means they wont be on the website (with pcp rates) for a while yet. Nothing to stop you calling them up and asking though, i’m sure they’ll be able to give you a good idea or some actual numbers
They haven't been published, BUT, I could hazard an educated guess.
OTR Price: £41,095 (base GT manual, no options)
Period: 37 months (initial payment + three years)
Final value: £19,000 (MY17 car has a GMFV of £18,025 so I bumped it up slightly)
Interest Rate: 3.9%
Total to finance: £22,095
Total interest charged: £3675.50
Monthly charges: £696.50
If you were to drop £10,000 on it, then the interest charges become £3046.14 and monthly payment drops to £409.22.
That seems like a realistic figure for a £40,000+ car.
