Poll for boosted cars only please chime in with your vote

Just want to see how many boosted cars use a bap and how many use fuel systems.

I was bap until I burned out my stock pump running e50....forced my hand to go fuel system.

No BAP or fuel system for me. Just ID1000’s.

3.6” pulley, pump gas only. Tuner (Rob Shoemaker) says all looks OK, but I know I would be safer to run a return system. Personally I’m not a fan of BAP’s, I’m looking to do a entry level Fore system once I have the coin to drop.

Installing my Fore system this weekend, for this reason Didn't wanna take a chance on getting stranded somewhere when the stock pump gives up the ghost

spend the money and go fuel system. my car burned up 2 factory pumps with a BAP.

Tuner recommended I upgrade fuel to be safe so that's what I did.

JMS BAP.

I don't see a reason to go with a fuel system unless I go E85, which is very hard to come by in NJ.

So this is designed to mount outside the tank? Also does it need a return line?

Mine came boosted. I also don’t understand what bap or a fuel system is. :shrug:

BAP is a boost a pump. It's a voltage booster for your stock fuel pump. Fuel system is an aftermarket pumps, regulator and lines.


OP I have a Sai Li kit on E85

this one sits in the boot/trunk, doing another one for the shop's TVS2650 car which mounts under the car. yes, you need to do a return.

always seen surge tanks advertised on fullboost but as far as i know they never really caught on in the states? i saw one on a fuel injection retrofit for a classic mustang but thats really it.
