Placed an Order for a 2018 Yesterday

Well, I finally did it. I've been driving boring cars most of my adult life (53' F-100 w/ 351W when I was younger though) and I pulled the trigger.

White GT
401 equipment
10 spd (tough decision, but I'm in SoCal and this will be a daily)
PP of course
Magneride
Active exhaust
Safe Package

I can't wait.
Mods I have planned:
H-pipe resonator delete
black stripes w/ red pin stripe
Tune (I need to learn about this, if there's an info thread on this and someone wants to point me in that direction I'd appreciate it)
Cold air intake at some point
Probably will replace that gloss front grill with something else and maybe put on a Coyote emblem.
Blackout the 5.0

Anyway...I'm just excited and wanted to share

I was pretty bummed I couldn't get the ceramic interior with the 401a equipment package...but I'm way too distracted by shiny objects and wanted the cool new digital dash so I guess I'll be slumming it with the black interior :lol:

I'm in Vista. I ordered with North County Ford, they do a pretty nice military discount there.

I havent checked if any of those are available except the wile coyote one.

I really wanted SHDWFAX (Shadowfax is Gandalf's white horse from Lord of the Rings- the lord of all horses) but sadly every single combo I could think of was taken.
I got HVY MTL instead. Works for me.

Definitley go with the H-pipe, many people tried to talk me into the X-pie but nope H is the way to go! Congrats on the “fun” car!

FWIW, don't plan on anything exhaust-wise until you actually have your car and you've driven it awhile. MY2018 cars have completely different exhaust systems, they're not like the quiet 2015-2017 cars at all.

And CAIs are largely useless. OEM CAIs are pretty much as good as it gets, unless you go with forced induction.
