Cool pair of Mustangs, and they are both red & white but in a kind of reversed way. What engine in the 64-1/2? Looks like at 289 emblem on the fender.

Nice.

But damn you. I had ruled out red stripes for my OW S550, then I see yours! #$%^ What brand and color code are those stripes?

Based on what it looks like, I'd guess Big Worm double 10" with matching pin.

I have to go +1 on your comment, those stripes look plain bad ass.:headbang:

Thanks!

It does say 289 but it actually has a 302.

Now my decision is which one goes in the garage? I only have a 1 car garage.
If you want that classic convertible to keep looking as good as it does, it will need the garage. The S550 has much better paint and UV protection. Plus, it's way easier to replace that one.

Thanks Martman I believe you're right. I'll just buy me a very good car cover for Winter storage. I drive my Yukon during the winter.

Very nice! My first car was a 65 coupe/289, wouldn't mind having another one either!

Is your 64.5 a 289 or 260? I know some of the really early ones came with a 260 and generator instead of alternator.
