I wonder what his 1st gear/rear end gear combo is. 1st gear seemed long as fuck. Very impressive though. Check out that rear end sway between shifts... gd bias plys!

He sawed that wheel pretty good on that 1-2 shift. Thats the slowest 60' 8 sec car I have ever seen, lol. Def. makes some serious hp.

That car would be 7s on auto. It was certainly power that put it in the 8s not shifting skills.

Ben from Fathouse is on here, hopefully he will see and chime in. Huge accomplishment to put a true stick car in the 8s. I talked to him at PRI and would love a GT350 with one of their turbo kits!

Come on now .Give some credit when it's due .At least he has got to have bg balls .
But how much power do you think he is making ? Not sure it would be a 7 sec car with that trap even with an auto .May be mid 8's ?

With my average shifting skills, and without 2 step /NLT I am about 1/2 a second slower(ET) than boost works auto KB car that is a twin of my car except for the Tremec (same trap speeds).

It's scares the hell out of me trapping 145 mph.In comparison I felt non of that fear when my Auto/Hellion car went mid 9's at about the same trap .

....how much faster have you gone (ET) since your autoswap ?

On the fast list auto's need traps of at least 155 mph to go 8.9 so I doubt any of them are going to run 7's at that 163 . Definitely more like mid 8's .

That car would be a ton quicker with an auto, it was to the top of first before it was in boost. Don't get me wrong, I am a shift it yourself guy through and through, but it wouldn't surprise me if that thing picked up at least .7-.8. But that would be the easy way...

Olaosunt, you should head to Md when Bo (kcc0521) sets up another rental, we could setup a manual trans grudge race..

It's about an 10 hour drive to Baltimore.I usually drive to the local tracks on slicks but would have to load them in the back seat if I drove .
I could probably have bought a trailer by now with all the $$ I have spent on towing back from the track when stuff breaks. Lol

Geez, yes get or rent a trailer, lol. It is about 8.5 hrs for me, it's worth it for the traction, sea level track, no hassle from officals, and good group of guys.

We are going to get both lanes at the next track rental and are going to try to do a small heads up race with 20-50 buy in winner take all.

Hey guys!

Car has a 3.23 rear gear and 2.66 1st in the magnum. The car bogged pretty hard on this pass. We are still learning how to launch with the new clutch setup. At Mod Motor Nationals we were getting consistent mid 1.3x short times. We obviously have a lot left in it.

The car would be a mid to low 8 car with an auto, I have no doubts about that. BUT it would be just another fast auto car and they seem to be everywhere these days so we are doing something different.

Goals for this year are sub 8.5 at 165+mph
