I bought a 2016 base also. Mainly because I couldn't afford the track pack but I am happy with my decision. I mainly wanted the Recaro seats and I surely didn't want the old sync system. I never planed on going to the track with it just some curvy roads. I thought I would want the magnaride but as others have said I like the simplicity of a conventional shock and it handles mid corner bumps really well. I think it was a bargain for 50k.

On my 17 when go over speed bumps I can feel some noises coming from the struts and the shock or the tires. Is this normal with the magna ride suspension?
I hear/feel a clunk when I pull sideways up some curbs. Feels like the magride suspension is adjusting to what must seem to the computer as a very odd angle/height difference laterally and longitudinally.

I have a base and love it. The stock setup was very good for ride comfort and stability.

I now have the Ford performance springs, and I might be one of the only base models in existence with this setup. It’s very good, car just works and I always know what I’m getting.

In the future I can also go DSSV if I want, fairly trouble free (aside from my bank account lol).

Then I would have a car to fear.

Did you track the car before the spring change and after the spring change? I have a Base too and was curious on the improvement of the ford performance springs. Please let me know what you think about the difference even if you did not track the car . It the difference of handling very noticeable? Did ride quality noticeably decrease? Please

The numbers I saw had 39 Base Units sent to Canada so there are only slightly over a 100 Base Cars in the US so they are "Rare Birds". I'm very happy with my Base and by seeing prices of 2018 GT's easily approaching $50K, the base was a great deal.

Is $45k for the base with around 6k miles a good price? I can get a TrackPack for $48-50k...

I paid 47 for a one owner base with the colors I wanted. 10K miles.

I wanted a base ,didn't care about coolers and tech.

If you want a base, and trust the seller, that's a good deal.

It can be hard to say what the price should be for a base GT350 because there isn't very many for sale right now. From the GT350 tech and track cars that I have been watch most are between $48,000 and $52,000. A lot of those cars have been sitting on the lot for some time. When the price drops to under $47,000 they sell quickly. Myself I would push for about $8,000 under what the original MSRP was but ultimately it is what ever you are comfortable paying.
Good Luck.

Agreed with what everyone else has been saying regarding prices and time these cars sit on the lot. I bought my 2016 w/ tech package in December for 50k. The car is amazing and I likely won't track it. That said, I've been driving it all the time.

While it was a little more than I wanted to pay, the car was owned by an enthusiast who bought it and parked it. It had 241 miles on it and I felt fairly confident it wasn't beat on. The prior owner upgraded to a R per the dealership and I'm assuming that his R is now sitting in a garage collecting dust right now as well lol!
