Hey, I need some help. I have a 2015 GT premium non PP. I ordered TSW bathurst wheels 20x9.5 +35 for the front and 20/10 +40 for the rear. I also ordered Michelin pilot super sports in 275/35 r20 for the front and 295/35 r20 for the rear. The back tires are installed but the front tires are back ordered and should be here next week. My buddy had a set of old 275/40 r20's that we threw on the front wheels until the super sports get here.

The front tires are rubbing on the springs. Here's a couple of pics.

Here's a crappy cell phone pic in the garage...lowering springs are next once the front super sports arrive.

I started a thread on the forum prior to ordering the wheels and guys said they were running 275's on 20" rims on the front without any issues. Did they send me the wrong offset wheels? Or is it that the 275/40's are too tall? I am worried my 275/35's won't fit... Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help you can provide. I am loving my GT and obviously I don't know a lot about cars but am learning along the way. :headbonk:

You could try some wheel spacers. That should push the tire out a bit...

A 275/40 is a 1.2 inches taller than 275/35, that is most likely the reason they rub. I have 20x10 40mm offset with 275/35 and they don't rub, there are a lot of guys with this combo. In your second pic you typed 295/40, if it is a 295 then it is way to tall for the front.

Thanks...I was thinking it was the 275/40 that was causing the issue. You are right, a made a typo and meant 275 not 295.
