Hey guys, first post here. Just wanted ya'll's opinion on two different prices I was quoted for the 2015 GT Premium that I will be ordering. Here is what I am building:

2015 Mustang GT Premium
Ingot Silver
Equipment Group 400A
6 Speed Manual Transmission
Leather Recaros
Performance Package

Dealership #1 quoted me:

$39,179 (X-plan before taxes)
$40,665 (out the door price)
No $500 rebate

Dealership #2 quoted me:
$38,912 (X-plan before taxes)
$40,543 (out the door price)
$500 rebate if I order before close on Friday
$40,043 (with the $500 rebate)

The first dealership told me that they couldn't give me the $500 rebate if I ordered the car. Only if I bought one that was currently on the lot.....

Obviously I am leaning towards the second dealership. Does their offer of $40,043 seem fair for the car I am wanting? Just curious what kind of figures you guys are seeing for similar cars.

Thanks and I look forward to updating ya'll soon!

Punch everything you want in on nada. It will spit out invoice. Which is x plan price. Before any taxes or fees etc, it should equal that. Rebates should stack on that.

I'm seeing $38,560 with your options on the X-Plan website. So Dealer 2 is a bit closer. So I'd go with the second dealer.
