wheel options for v6

Do any of the 15-17 gt or eco 18 in wheels fit on a 16 v6 or am I stuck with the stock 17in. or aftermarket?

any stock 15-17 wheel will fit, in 15-16 there was an 18 inch wheel option for the V6. Check https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=154 for take offs. I was interested in a set of stock 20 inch nickle wheels until i saw how much tires were.

As mentioned, you can run any of the wheels offered for 2015-2017 on the V6 Mustang. I've had Ecoboost PP wheels before and am now running GT PP wheels on my V6:

If you like any of the factory wheels they can usually be found cheap here or on craigslist. Aftermarket are usually preferred since they are typically lighter and have better offsets.
I went from the factory 18" to factory 19" and now have 19" aftermarket.

Speaking of cost of tires. They are pretty expensive at least for the set up I want. I've been wanting to get new wheels but the initial cost of buying new wheels and tires keep stopping me. For the curious I'm trying to do 18x9 with 265/45.

I paid $975 for the Ecoboost PP wheels and they had very, very low mileage OEM Pirelli P-Zero's on them.

I paid $950 for GT PP wheels with low mileage OEM Pirelli P-Zero's on them.

A co-worker paid $1k for a set of 20" Premium wheels with OEM Pirelli's with less than 500 miles on them.

Keep an eye open on the Marketplace section of this forum, because there are wheel/tire sets for sale all the time - at very good prices.

I got my current set of 19" wheels/tires from Tire Rack on sale for about $1600 with TPMS sensors installed. With the added benefit to me to be able to pay via credit card makes it more attractive to paying cash for used wheels/tires.

You get better deals on Facebook groups from my experience. I got mine for a killer $275. Every once in a while you'll see something like $500+stock wheels pop up too, not as sweet as what I got but still better than coming up with nearly $1k cash to pay for them.

My problem with 6g marketplace is that it is either the wheels are black or the design is too modern for my tastes.

I'm looking a tirerack at the moment and for wheels and tire package I'm look at $1863 without tpms. The 265/45R18 seem to be Porsche territory which doesn't help.

These wheels and these tires. Still very modern looking but it is the cheapest I think.

Edit: I'm also looking at oewheelsllc as they have some really cheap wheels that look nice.

I think I found your problem. What's so special about these tires to you? Could get the Indy 500s in 275/40/18 for much cheaper. Hell, the PS4S is $75 cheaper in the same size.

When I get new tires, I think I'll go with either the Indy 500s or the Comp 2 A/S. The Comp 2 A/S comes with the bonus of a 45,000 mile treadlife warranty which would be nice to have while still performing pretty well.

To be honest I didn't notice they had those and they have pretty good reviews compared to the good years. I chose 265/45r18 because they only have a +.1in difference from the stock 235/50r18 so I'm more particular with that than tire brand.

You should have 0 issues with any mustang of this decade with stock wheels you can even stick the GT350 wheels on if you want.

ultra high performance summer tires can be sketchy when temps drop. Don't know where you are or what the weather is like just be aware.
