IIRC, stock tune has the same HP but more torque...I'm guessing the Ford Racing ProCal tune won't work on the '18 ;) I wouldn't be suprised if there's some internal differences in the block now too. Waiting for a tuner to tear into a 2018 engine block :D

I'd imagine most car mag reviews will be focused on the 10 speed transmission. A real apples-to-apples comparison would be a 2016-2017 Ecoboost PP 6MT to a 2018 Ecoboost PP 6MT.

I didnā€™t have any previous experience with the ecoboost but test drove an ā€˜18 10at last week before ordering a 6mt. The 10 speeds werenā€™t really noticeable in normal (actually forgot was 10 at the time) and felt really smooth. In sport one time pulling out from a rolling stop the transmission seeemed to hold a particular gear to the point where it felt like the transmission was slipping. Felt awkward and not especially beneficial.
