I have the DSS 800' s on 1100 rwhp /auto/Hellion car and they held up ,although my 1.4 xx 60's have likely not really tested them ( I have the "stronger" but heavier 1400 Ford racing ones on my Manual KB car).

I just ordered the same for my 18/A10 that wil be getting a whipple. Got them less than $1000 with recent Lethal sale .The A10 shifts in drag mode may be more "violent" than a tuned 6r80 so hope they hold up .
Thank you for this info. I see for me the 800's or 850's from DSs or Gforce would be more than sufficient.

I do not want to add more rotating weight than I need to so that is another reason not to get the Ford racing ones.

I would be happy if I can find the Gforce 850's for $1K.

That's what I was thinking too regarding weight .
The 800 DSS cost about $1000 at lethal and I think you can still get the 10% discount - so about $900 .Almost half of what the top ford racing ones cost.

That is a great deal for the DSS 800's I have been leaning towards the Gforce 850's though. Mainly because of an issue with a nut or bolt backing out. Perhaps I should get over that bias.
