I don't have a dog in the fight right now as I'm waiting on ours to be built. But, just a thought. If y'all could tell me what tranny, and what gears you have I can get a better read on the real world mpg's. Mine will be an A10 with the 3:15 gears. Thanks for your help.

Disclaimer: I'm not really worried to much about the mpgs as it is a Mustang GT afterall. But, just wondering.
6r80 with 3.15 gears.
I do have long tube headers and a Lund tune. :D

And by the way I have calibrated the mpg with actual mileage using the engineering mode.

I had to drive 75 miles each way to work for awhile and driving at 80mph, I was getting 24mpg. I have a '17 GT with 3.55 gears and manual trans. That was with the AC on. Now, I'm getting about 21mpg doing the same 80 mph for about 22 miles on a 35 mile trip each way, that also includes some stop and go.

I drove from Pittsburgh to Cleveland last year in the middle of the night for the Steelers/Browns game and from door to door, averaged 91 mph lol. My dashboard said I got 8 mpg for the whole trip...

It depends on what axle ratio you have!

OP, what MPG people get won't mean a thing unless you specify more criteria.

Like what gears someone has and what tire size they are running.

23 mpg hand calculated at 75-80 in northern CA is what I’ve observed w/2016 GT auto, including many long stretches at 80.

I drive regularly between Dallas, Beaumont, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. 85-95 mph and I'm getting about 15-18 mpg with few elevation changes.

If I'm hanging out in triple digits a lot it seems I can't get much more than 200 miles out of the tank. That makes my commute from Dallas kind of a pain sometimes if I have light traffic. I'll be pressing it making good time but I'll expect to need a last minute fuel stop.

I heard there was a GT with the 6mt which got 24 mpg driving cross country. Allegedly traveling 80-90mph as the target cruising speed whenever safe and prudent to do so. This was an average over 5000 miles I heard.

I heard a lot of stories here about gas mileage.
