The GT350 handles great from the factory, but lacks the power to make it fun to drive on the street.
You have got to be f'ing kidding me. What streets can you remotely use 1100hp on?

I hear you but you live in Dallas, you must not make it out to North Frisco often.
I swear if you are below the 1000 mark you might as well drive a 4 banger. My street days are long gone and thats why I opted for the 350, so I could go do the tracks. The street scene here is absurd, worse in Houston. Those "1320" videos are just nuts.

What is truly remarkable is how stock the engine is in that GT350. Great post.

Won't the car just be a wheel spinner? All show no go. If you somehow manage to hook up 1000 + HP in a GT350 pretty much everything in the drivetrain will break.

Strictly for penis measuring discussions at your local Cars and Coffee.
Then rapidly backing into a light pole or fence when leaving C&C? :D

We are all car guys and this build is awesome! Give credit were its due.

This car even on 4lbs would probably destroy most vehicles on the road!

I am sure as he finds weak links he will upgrade each as needed.

I am sure it can still be tracked if he chooses with the boost turned down and learning how to time when to apply power.

His car his money his dreams dont need to align with everyone elses.

I bet he will dethrone many a toyota supra or GTR on some highway runs in another land.

Nice build and amazing power. I agree with the previous poster; to each his own and whatever we do to our cars is our choice in direction that we have for it. Some visions are to stay stock, while others are like the owner of the 1100+ GT350. Many of us fall somewhere in between. Talked to my shop yesterday about my vision and although unconventional, it's how I want to do it. I applaud him and I am sure that he understands that he is testing the limits of the engine. With the kind of coin invested, I am certain that he has the means to build it if it breaks.

I agree, it's an awesome build. My problem is that idiotic quote. The idea of building an 1100hp car because a 500+hp isn't enough for the street is idiotic.

"If you're on ten, where can you go from there ? If you've only got ten, then where is there to go from there ? Nowhere"

"You see, this goes to 11. If we need that extra push off the cliff, we go to 11"
